Up visiting some relatives for a wedding, when we came across this small little nondescript place. The locals swear by it and we could see why. The food was homemade from scratch and it had all the local grandma feel. The grinders were on nice fresh bread and the fries were homemade as well. I recommend the curly fries. They just started making pizzas also so the types are not on their menu, but the ones we saw looked to be a good size. Prices were pretty low considering the food you got. Cashier was "hometown" friendly with a big smile and whatever you need attitude

Homemade pies, hand cut fries and great burgers. Fresh meat, hand packed and properly prepared on a tasty thin bun. Grabbed banana cream pie to go as we were too full to eat it on. Cute decor and clean restrooms. What's not to love???
This is our regular stop for breakfast on the way to Vermont from Malone. Recently we started going there for dinner. The food is out of this world good, and the service is top notch! Well worth the hour long drive from home!
What a great surprise! Delicious home made food , no frills but just delicious! Fresh crisp Salad , warm Buns and butter . I had the Jumbo shrimp ( not jumbo ) but very well seasoned and sautéed on a garlic butter sauce with minced garlic just hit the spot! Mashed potatoes that are delicious , surely locally grown... All so good I recommend you try this place :)
We were traveling from Montreal to Vermont and decided to grab a bite to eat. Where else do we find food - Yelp!! The 5 star rating is well deserved! Quaint country atmosphere with 50's decor and 90's music! Our waitress, Wanda, was very friendly and gave exceptional service. I had the fried shrimp, homemade French fried, coleslaw and a roll. The shrimp was fried perfectly, the fries were great and plentiful! I was enamored by the pie selection and decided not to eat the roll. I had the homemade maple pie for dessert - sooo good!! My husband had the liver, onions and bacon; he raved about how good it tasted! The two other travelers had a hamburger and chopped steak; perfectly cooked and delicious! One had the homemade butterscotch pie which didn't survive long as she said it too was delicious! The reasonable prices and excellent food was well worth the 14 mile detour.
My favorite breakfast in upstate NY! The service is friendly, food is delicious, portions are huge, and prices are fair! I've enjoyed several meals here while in the area.
I must say that the ladies behind the counter are amazing and so is Jeremy the cook. The food was excellent! The French Toast was great along with the homemade toast. By far one of the best diners the north country has to offer! I would highly recommend paying them a visit!

Food is tasty. Service excellent chicken and dumplings are fantastic. Pizza is very good and crust is amazing.
